The huge wheelhouse has high security doors and access from both sides. Forward helm position with a saloon area aft. Light bright and great for relaxing on a mooring or accompanying the skipper under way. A companionway aft leads to the main cabin where you will find a walk-around bed of 1.9m x 1.8m an ensuite heads with shower and plenty of hanging space and drawers.
Forward from the wheelhouse is the main living accommodation fitted with a Bose home cinema system but first we come to the galley which is very well fitted with quality modern equipment but NO GAS! This is a gas free boat. Fridge freezer Liebherr, Ariston dish washer, oven with grill and three hob induction cook top. An American breakfast bar separates the galley from the saloon lounge area. The fireplace is electric and can be used either as a secondary heating source or without heating just to give a cozy flame effect. Forward of the saloon area is a laundry cum utility room followed by a workshop to port and an office to starboard. Everything is neatly stowed and the office is bulging with ships documents, owners manuals, bills in fact a complete history of the last 18 years. Going back to the galley you will find a door next to the fridge/freezer which gives access to the guest cabin with its ensuite heads and shower a bed of 1.9m x 1.6m and good hanging storage. Hot water is provided in the galley by an electric instant boiler. Central heating is from a Kabola central heating boiler which is connected to radiators throughout the boat. The Kabola is professionally serviced every year (bills to prove). Economy is ensured through the following insulation.
All roofed areas are fully insulated with rock wool insulation, except for the new pilot house roof which has been done with polystyrene slabbed insulation. All superstructure external sides are fully insulated with rock wool insulation from roof level down to deck level. All hull side shell plating is insulated with rock wool insulation from deck level to down below the waterline level. All floor areas have been renewed with either carpet tiles, adhesive tiles, cork tiles or laminated wood strips. Aluminium backed foam insulation was installed under all the relevant areas.
Autonomy is huge with a total of 12800 liters of fuel on board, 3400 liters of water and holding tanks of 1750 liters (forward) and 850 liters aft. Electricity from a Fischer Panda 12Kva generator when not on shore power or inverter.

Broker's Comments
Residential Dutch barge for sale in France. Boatshed Paris is pleased to offer this capable coastal crusing barge for sale.
Category B navigation for maritime use and able to access many inland waterways. This is an outstanding vessel, immaculately maintained and currently moored in the North Aquitaine region of France. Impressive, continuous upgrades and maintenance to a retired maritime professionals requirements for his own comfort and pleasure. This is one of the best maintained vessels I have had the pleasure of visiting and has the benefit of full documentation and bills for works. Comfort has been addressed, security and ease of operation has been addressed. The accumulated knowledge of a lifetimes experience has been put to good sensible use in the improving and maintaining of this boat. Not just bells and whistles but a serious cruising residence capable of so much more than a cruise "up the cut". In fact our vendor has lived aboard full time since 2006 and made the following journeys.
