Broker's Comments
Boatshed Cornwall are pleased to list for sale this Hunter Horizon 26 Bilge Keeler. There are other versions of this versatile yacht with fin and lifting keels, yet the bilge keel version is probably the most popular. There were reported to be around 159 of these British designed and built yachts with this one being number 87. They were one of the first to incorporate the aft cabin and heads arrangement.
This yacht is now ashore and has been winterised for the winter season.
Some recent maintenance items, all completed professionally during 2019, include:
Engine inlet seacock
Exhaust
Sound Insulation
Renewed anode
Renewed windows
Renewed standing rigging
Renewed some running rigging
It is understood that this Hunter Horizon will continue to be, when on the swinging mooring, used until we find a new owner.
These boat details are subject to contract.
Note: Offers on the asking price may be considered.
